A medium should be a size 40. For the most accurate fit you can look at the neck, chest, and sleeve measurements on the product page and click on "Additional Information" to look at the sizing chart.

I can't be too sure with what size would be suitable for your partner, but you can refer to Xtreme's own sizing chart here: http://www.x-treme.com.au/size_chart.php for more accurate information on their sizes :) Just a quick note - the size chart on our website has not yet been updated as Xtreme only just updated theirs! So do refer to the one on Xtreme's website for a more accurate estimate of what size jacket to get. The one on their website is pretty true to size.

Also, if you do purchase from us and find that the size is not right, you can send it back to us within 30 days free-of-charge and we will organise a new size for you.

The Xtreme leather motorcycle jackets are made in Pakistan. Pakistan is a huge manufacturer of leather products, and motorcycle gear is huge there. If you're interested well, the Draggin Jeans products are mostly made in Australia :)

The Brando leather jacket is made out of Premium A Grade Cowhide leather. In terms of thickness the leather itself is approximately 2mm (This excludes the inner lining material) and it is double lined on some parts of the suit which doubles the thickness.
